Some Tips about Mixer Malfunction and Troubleshooting
If mixer stops suddenly while working, the outlet gate should be opened to remove the materials before the motor.
In case of material leakage at the output gate, the contacting condition of the housing and output gate should be checked. If the output gate has been firmly fixed, first the nuts should be loosen on both ends of the connecting lever. After that, the length of the connecting level should be adjusted properly. In case of the presence of an aged seal strip, the aged seal strip should be replaced by a new one.
The limit switch is at an incorrect position or the circuit is broken if the discharge gate is closed without giving out any signal. In this case, the position of the limit switch should be adjusted and the circuit should be checked.
Check any failure with regard to the cylinder and air supply system if the discharge mechanism cannot work normally. The pipe connection should comply with the relevant requirements.
If the loose bolts on the sealing cover have led to material leakage at the shaft ends, they should be screwed up tightly; if the aged sealing members are the cause of material leakage, replace aged sealing members on the required time. In case of insufficient space for sealing members’ replacement, first, the sprocket and bearing pedestal and then the sealing gland should be disassembled. At last, the sealing members are replaced.
In case of light friction noise during the machine operation, the rotor’s position should be properly readjusted.
Mixer Malfunction and Troubleshooting
